Hi Everyone,

Been keeping up with BBHN over the last couple and recently connected my network to the world-wide BBHN Tunnel Network.

Since we have lots a sun, I decided to power all of my BBHN devices with solar energy, 24/7. basically, I have a 1kw 12v battery system fed by a charge controller and 400w of solar panel.

On the network I have:

1) A HD web camera up on my tower pointed at Waikiki below me. My QTH altitude is 800 feet (240 mtrs). and approximately 3 miles (4800mtrs) from Waikiki.

When connecting to web cam, please logon with username=guest and pw=guest.

2) Weather station web site. You can see the station in the web cam.

3) AllStar node which connects to other Hawaii and world-wide AllStar nodes to interconnect Hawaiian users from around the world. This node ties into the Hawaiian AllStar Network for local BHNN users.

4) HamChat, web server are still in the works....

Future intent is to put up a point-to-point link from my QTH to a site in Waikiki, to accommodate users who can see this sight. Some points could be as far away as 20+ miles away.

So, this is what I have going on in Honolulu Hawaii. Please come by

I wish I had brought one of my spare nodes with me. I'm on the 20th floor of a hotel downtown. I'd like to have seen if I could connect to you.

Hi everyone, My network has been off the Texas hub for awhile. I am running a GS with tunnel server configured to accept client connections. Please email me if you have a tnnel client set up into your bbhn and we'll get you hooked up. 73 kh6tz (here in the middle of the Pacific Ocean)

Wayne, Are you still active on BBHN Mesh? I have two systems, one in Hilo and one back in Minnesota. I have a VPN server set up here in Hilo and a VPN client in MN, but have not been able to get them to work. I am obviously missing something. Sound like you have the mesh VPN working. Any suggestions? Les, K0BAD
