It can't hurt, and I did do mine just out of general practice. If they are on 3.0.0rc1 I wouldn't worry that much on it in this particular case, especially if the node is hard to get to. Literally the only change between 3.0.0rc1 and 3.0.0 is a change to the version. This isn't to say this will always be the case on a release candidate build, just that in this case rc1 is exactly the same as the a stable release. If it's one of the 3.0.0b builds (beta compared to release candidate) than absolutely upgrade as it wasn't until RC1 we put the last fix in to fix stability issues found in the 1.1.x builds. |
